Building Energy Analysis of SGH Office in Waltham, MA
PublicDownloadable Content
open in viewerThe U.S. building sector is responsible for over one-third of the country's entire energy consumption. Because of this, efforts to reduce energy consumption in buildings can have a significant effect on the overall energy demand. This paper considers a case study of an office, provides an in-depth review of the building's characteristics and attempts to simulate the building in DesignBuilder. Using BES, energy consumption of the office is analyzed and ECMs are suggested to reduce energy usage.
