86 FRIDAY, Mar. 27, 1925 Went to Laferia to try out disc plow. The new plow withscrew seems to hold to the work better than #18. There are real ebony roots to plow up. In afternoon we went 15 miles below Brownsville to see another disc plow but rain a few days before made plowing impossible. We had dinner in Matamoros having wonderful beer, wild turkey and young Kid. It is hot down here and seems like the middle of summer. [Passengers check:Brownsville to San Antonio, Tex.]
