MONDAY AUGUST 18 1947 Telephoned Moline this noon reading Altgelt's letter to Hy Park as Bruce Lourie and Charley Stone were out of town. The glass bowl of carburator of Chrysler leaked because of poor gasket. Hubbard's garage fixed it. In afternoon the 5 of us went to Heidi Roosevelts at Thompson.
