SATURDAY, June 6, 1936 Clear/Rain Black Hawk Hike in afternoon. Elise and I went taking Mimi. Went to Chrstal Lake DeWitte. In rained during the hike and we were drenched to the skin. Fortunately we had taken our bathing suits, so we came home in this costume. Lee came home at 820 tonight and how good it is to have her with us. She is a dear girl.
