Development of a Linux device driver for an Emulex fibre channel interface
PublicThis project continues development of a Linux device driver for an Emulex Light Pulse Fibre Channel interface. This document discusses hardware specifications, basic driver design, and implementation details. During the course of this project, we implemented all the low-level functionality of the LP6/7/8000 card, and started work on SCSI encapsulation code. All card initialization is performed up to fabric login. Future work includes implementing fabric login and extensive performance testing.
