open in viewerIn this project, stock market trading strategies and the history of the stock were investigated. Two trading strategies, day trading and position trading, were utilized to conduct two separate stock market simulations over a period of ten weeks. Each simulation portfolio began with an initial $100,000 to invest with the goal of garnering the most profit using each respective trading technique. Simulation results from the two strategies were analyzed and compared to determine which technique netted the most profit. Position trading method was more profitable with a 5.92% return while day trading simulation only had a 2.27% return. This project provided valuable stock trading experience that laid a solid foundation for future investments.
