Friday,September 3, 1937 Clear/Rain Still hot & sticky - A 5 mile walk with Richard Gregory in morning. Tennis matches in afternoon Elise & John Peabody defeated by Miss Hatch and Tom Allen 3-6. 0-6. Bill and Barbara Allen defeated 0-6 - 3-6 by Mary Richardson and Joe Donaldson. The children did verywell. Elise and I went to Shepherd Knapps for supper. Goldie arrived to spend the night.
