Removal of 1,4-Dioxane from Water by Adsorption to Resins

open in viewerThe purpose of this project was to evaluate resins as adsorbents for removing 1,4-dioxane from water. The objective of this study was to find new type of remediation technology for 1,4-dioxane. A range of resins with various properties and characteristics were tested to determine if adsorption is a viable option for removing this water-soluble contaminant.
