Public DepositedWENDESDAY DEC. 14 1949 Had breakfast with Henry Dreyfus this morning at the Plaza. He asked me to go with him to his model makers on 29th St. Here we saw a mock up of a Hudson - Manhattan Subway car which he was styling. Also some new RCA Television cabinets. A fascinating shop. At 10 Amy and Kate came to the Biltmore and the three of us took the Lexington Ave. subway up to the Bronx Zoo at 180th St. We spent over three hours seeing all the exhibits and we fortunate to see the lions and tigers fed. About the most interesting sight was to see the 7 seals being fed 110 lbs of small fish. Amy Kate and I stopped to call on Arney Aldrich 1120 5th Ave. Her mother was related to the Brown family.
