Bluetooth interference evaluation

Public

The goals of this project were to design a wireless testbed containing Bluetooth and IEEE 802.11b radios and examine the effects of interference on the radios in the wireless network. For our design, we emulated typical office scenarios in which the radios could be used and collected data on the radios' throughput, packet error rate, and ping time. Based on background research and the experimental data, we developed conclusions on Bluetooth and IEEE 802.1 lb interoperability and produced recommendations on how the different radios could be used in the same environment.
