This Major Qualifying Project, prepared for General Dynamics, describes the development of a test suite to evaluate the randomness of random bit sequences. The streams of bits were subjected to statistical tests that compared them to how truly random numbers would behave. The tests were chosen after careful research and were tested again[st] a variety of random bit generators to insure that they were implemented correctly.
