5° below zero this morning Friday Jan. 16 1948 A meeting this afternoon Wiman, Stone, Bruce Lourie, Park, Anderson, Burton, Belowski & I. A model meeting room & theatre for the Experimental farm was discussed. Lourie & Park believe that a training grounds for salesmen, dealers & farmers is necessary and this meeting room is the first event next a dining room and barracks. In all about a $200,000 layout. This would mean we would probably have to find at least 100 acres more of tillable land for experimental work, as much of the present place would be needed for thesales dept. program. The matter is to be brought before the Board of Directors January meeting on the 27th. Wiman rather hesitates about the expenditure, but knows it is a good thing. I.H.C. propose to do this in a few years. At Lee's for supper
