Dynamic DNS Web Usability for a Target Market
PublicDownloadable Content
open in viewerThis project examined the usability of the DynDNS website and specifically investigated the process of signing up for services. To achieve the company's goal of attracting new users, particularly those who are not experts in networking, the MQP team examined ways to make Dyn's services easier to access, utilize and understand. These examinations were carried out through three laboratory experiments, including an eye tracking study. Through the analysis of the results of these experiments the MQP team provided recommendations to improve the usability of DynDNS' current website as well as recommendations to improve the processes of signing up for services.
