THURSDAY OCT. 6 1949 Wayne Worthington said this morning that he had recommended to Stone that in two months he would like to spend two solid weeks in the field with my new tractor and implements and evaluate it with the Ford. To have both tractors in the field and would like to have Ken Anderson with him. This would mean shipping the tractor somewhere in the south. I talked to Stone and he felt it would be a good thing if Worthington can find the time. To me it seems the most important thing Deere is facing which is future tractor design. We are to have the Oct 21 field day with tractor too. At Lee's for dinner Tooth put in today.
