Pd Hasenbrook thru thru Sept 4 Saturday, September 4, 1937 Clear/Rain Still hot & sticky Very bad in Moline so letters say. Fixed doors -- Watched tennis matches - both morning and afternoon. Elise and I at the Allens for supper later at Mrs Allens seniors for pictures and then the dance at the town hall. Elise Jr had the dessert course of the progressive dinner at our house 34 or more here. Lee & Bill did a Russian Ballet number that made a hit. Today ended a 10 day heat wave in Moline in which period the thermometer was over 900 every day. and besides it was humid.
