PublicDownloadable Content
open in viewerA transgenic animal contains genes not native to its species. The use of these animals in research and medicine has dramatically increased our understanding of genetics and disease modeling. This IQP aims to provide an overview of the technical development and applications of transgenic animals, as well as the ethical, legal, and societal ramifications of creating these animals. Finally, this IQP will draw conclusions from the research performed and the information gathered.
