PublicDownloadable Content
open in viewerThis project, jointly sponsored in Copenhagen by the Danish Association of the Blind (DBS) and the Euman Company, assessed the feasibility of using Euman's LifePilot GPS technology for blind and partially sighted individuals. After conducting literature research as well as surveys and focus groups, the team concluded that there is a potential for Euman technology, currently being developed, and an overall need for navigational aids, and recommended a variety of features for a GPS based device that would prove useful in the visually impaired community.
