Went to see Clarissa Dodge about land at Comet Pond owned by Mrs.Geo.F.Blake She has 11 or 12 acres of land with seasonal buildings More lately she felt that she did not want to sell. If she did it would be about $7000- so that is out of the question unlessit might be possibly to get 10 or more to join together. Then Elise and I went to Princeton and over the house, everthing seems to be alright.1 foot of snow. Richard Hamilton went up with us. He is to tell us whether we need painting the house and will put cover over the rear door and put 2 newpieces of celotox on ceiling at front stairs. Took colored pictures of snow. In P.M. Lee Evarts andAmy arrived on 1:45 train. We called on Uncle Dwight, Bertha, Mr Allen, and the Chas. Bakers. Phil took me to the annual dinner of the Worcester Club. formal dinner. Met a lot of my old friends and Harry Stoddard andGeo. Barth who remembered myold [? of the Worcester ....] Later old fashioned movie show.
