PublicDownloadable Content
open in viewerThis project provided recommendations for the Kingdom of Morocco, a country projected to experience a decrease of water availability by 30% by 2030. Interviews and site visits with Moroccan stakeholders from government, civil society, university, and industry, yielded information on initiatives employed to counteract the predicted decline of available water. Recommendations aimed to improve Moroccan water management and included strengthening communication through town-hall style meetings, promoting collaboration and awareness through utilization of the internet and social media, and developing a farming extension program and interactive educational outreach programs for students.
