Image 111 of Theo Brown Diaries, 1940
Public DepositedSunday, March 17, 1940 Some snow in morning. The Cades have 80 acres of farm land which we walked ober this morning. An early dinner Bill and his mother drove Elise Lea and me to Jackson 30 miles south where Elise and Lee took the "Mercury" to Detroit and I the west bound Mercury to Chicago ~ Elise and Lee Leave Detroit at 525 on the Arrow for Washington. They are to meet Bill Brown there tomorrow morning for a 3 day stay at the Allies Inn. I came home on 5.45 Rocket. Much warmer here. Elise and I are very glad to have made this trip and like the Cades very much Mrs Cade seems like a mixture of Mrs Roys & Mrs Harry Ainsworth.
