The division of User Interface Design into Logical Interface Design (LID) and Physical Interface Design allows a separation of concerns: what information needs to be displayed and captured versus how it is displayed. This division allows integration of Object-Oriented Analysis with LID. In the project, we developed a representation for LID, software to capture this representation, and rules for automatically transforming it.
