Xcache -- an XML query caching system

Public

The goal of the Xcache system is to create a query caching system to facilitate searches over XML data sources, and increase the performance of such searches. Current query engines must send new queries over the network each time they need to be executed. The Xcache system stores queries in its cache and then uses those results to answer new queries. This query caching method can return results much faster than typical query engines for many types of queries.
