Image 408 of Theo Brown Diaries, 1937
Public DepositedSaturday, December 4, 1937 Clear Blackhawk hike in afternoon. Harry Getz took me. About 30 going. Donaldson Creek near Linwood. The weather was perfect for a hike. Tom Spatney from Milwalkee came. He was driving back and took a mah jong table I made several years ago to the Coburns in Evanston. I gave him an electric Canteen. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Bill spent weekend with Amy. Amy in a letter to mother said "Billy spent the week end with us and we all think him a delightful companion. He is such fun that he kept us laughing hard all Saturday evening. He seems very well balanced so sociable and entertaining while at the same time he is very serious minded and enjoys being alone. He is fortunate in being developed in both directions for he should always be able to adjust himself to his environment."
