[Insert: Letter] Dear Mother & Dad Your lettersseem to get here in good time, and are always most welcome. I've written so many letters recently that I can't remember if my last to you was before or after my last trip to Paris and [to visit to Prague]. On the posibility that it was before, I'll tell you something about it. I got to Paris Thursday noon, meeting Caroline [Coudrot] who had just arrived the day before on the Queen Mary with her grandfather. We met Vladimir to lunch and then went to a gallery selling Picasso lineographs. I got a couple, in fact 5for the price that one sells for in New York - and will try to sell a couple when I get back to pay [can't read] others. They are certainly a good investment, at any rate. Golschmannand I went to Broque's Zeron, an art editor here, a friend of Mary Callery's made the appointment for me - we got to his house about 5:30 and were shown directly up to his studio where we stayed for an hour and a quarter. Golschmann got him warmed Up, and he seemed really friendly & interested after that. He's a fine looking man with white hair, tall thin, handsome eyes - a friendly simple manner, an an excellent conversationalist
