Tuesday, April 26, 1938 ANNUAL STOCK HOLDERS MEETING Harold White was elected to the Board of Directors. Rest of the Board re elected - Ive been a Director 15 years. For the first six months of the fiscal year we will have a volume of about44 millions. Silloway thought we might do 80 millions for the year. Mixter felt 70 would be nearer right. Business held up pretty well till this month, now it's going down fast. Crops and general business contractors will control the balance of year but we can't expect much before July 1st. Meeting rather more optomistic than I dared expect. In evening we went to hear Marian Anderson. colored singer in Civic Music Course. She was wonderful. We took the Stones with us.
