Electronic Tablets and Choral Singing: Initial Investigations

open in viewerIn an age where technology plays a significant role in our lives, there is little research on the effect of technology on live performances, specifically singing, one of the most popular activities in the world. This paper provides research into how tablets might be better utilized to advance choral singing in a university setting. To answer this we analyzed existing applications, surveyed university choral students, and categorized a set of features that could make tablet computers a more useful tool.
