Semi-Collapsible Temporary Housing for Hurricane Relief and Recovery
PublicDownloadable Content
open in viewerIn the wake of a hurricane, relief organizations often provide victims with temporary housing until their original homes are repaired or replaced. Many current temporary housing solutions can accommodate displaced persons for up to one year, but these products can be expensive to manufacture, difficult to set up, and not reusable. This project, sponsored by Deployed Resources, addressed these shortcomings through the development of a cost effective, semi-collapsible, and reusable temporary housing unit.
