Public DepositedMONDAY JULY 12 1948 A hot and humid day, unusual for Princeton. In evening WAINO HOLOPAINEN Princeton Road Hubbardston asked me to come over to see a demonstration of his WAIN-ROY Farm Loader as used on a new Ferguson Tractor. I saw it used as a ditch digger with specialbucket. Can dig a trench four and a half feet deep. The rear bucket allows the dirt to be depositied at one side. The loading bucket was demonstrated moving heavy rocks, uprooting juniper and loading manuer in a cramped barn cellar. The outfit will fit both Ford & Ferguson tractors and also the John Deer M. They like the M best because of the constantly running pump for hydraulic power. On Aug 11th there will be a big farm meeting in Rutland and this outfit will be shown there. The factory is small about five men employed now, 11 the most. 3 outfits on hand for M. The cub and 1H A are not recommended on hills by 1H. General mills have a farm store in Fitchburg.
