A comparison of the attitudes towards genetically modified food in the United States and Denmark

open in viewerA Genetically Modified (GM) organism is one that has been altered at its most fundamental level, at the root of what makes the organism unique, its genetic code. Today, one of the main focuses of biotechnology is the genetic modification of food, which has caused a global debate. This project explores and compares the knowledge, attitudes and practices of the key actors involved in the GM food debate in the United States and Denmark in order to better understand and characterize the debate in both countries.
