Thursday, January 7, 1937 Cloudy/Snow Bill left for Lake Forest at 1145 this morning. He was home nearly four weeks for his Christmas vacation He spent much time at the piano. It started to sleet at noon and by night it was dangerous driving. The defroster fan and heater did wonders to clear the wind sheild. Saw Will Waterman with Oty. He is going to ger action on bankruptcy proceedings for Oty to have it done before the last of March, for there is a chance that Balluf may make some kind of a settlement on the matter of the Holbrook store this would be outlawed March 31st so some action must be taken before then if anything is to be done.
