Power Supply for MRI Environment
PublicDownloadable Content
open in viewerThe goal of this project was to design a sub system that would power an MRI patient monitor. In order to be compatible with the MRI environment, the sub system would need to be able to withstand the magnetic fields of the MRI, while not presented any artifacts during the imaging process. This report explores the topics of shielding, EMI, magnetic susceptibility, and filtering to accomplish these design objectives.
- This report represents the work of one or more WPI undergraduate students submitted to the faculty as evidence of completion of a degree requirement. WPI routinely publishes these reports on its website without editorial or peer review.
