Autonomous Underwater Robots for Ocean Monitoring
Public DepositedThis project designed a novel concept on how to clean and reduce the plastic waste residing in the ocean, specifically in dying coral reefs. As micro and macro plastics are imposing near irreparable damage, a system of autonomous robots was conceptualized to remove plastic debris, restoring the vitality of the coral and the biodiversity they house. A TEDx talk was given, explaining the immense need and plan to resurrect some of the largest ecosystems of the world.
