open in viewerThis project examined the fundamental principles of products liability law and how it applies to everyday consumer products and industrial equipment. This project involved learning about the theories and practices of products liability law. Three pending lawsuits were investigated by examining actual depositions, statements, manuals, standards, and handbooks. By completing this project, our group developed an appreciation for the scope and applicability of products liability law, in terms of safety, moral principles, and business practices.
