Thursady, May 5, 1938 Phil Curtis arrived on the "Rocket" this evening and left for Kansas City at 945 PM. It was good to see him. We had more troubles with Pow Lift today. We found the lift with rearings and complete front end cultivator is 14000 inch pounds. The front end have about 9000 so we feel that it is necessary to use lifting springs when rear rigs are used.
