This project was to complete the first five chapters of an advanced high school or college freshman chemistry text book. The objectives of the text were to fix some of the major flaws in common texts on the market. Breaking down fundamental concepts and giving more of the "why" instead of just the "what" to chemistry was the main goal. Providing a text that would grab the reader, making chemistry an interesting subject to learn, and refusing to adhere to the barriers between different fields of chemistry were also accomplished goals for this text.
