open in viewerBy collecting data from social media, news media, and government reports our project aims to develop an analytic big data tool to mitigate food safety risk by leveraging machine learning models to collect relevant data on foodborne illness outbreaks. Our application also serves as a web-based visual analytics tool, allowing users to explore results for early warning and discovery.
