Teaching Practicum in High School Math at South High Community School
Pubblico DepositedMy teaching practicum at South Community High School was the final step to acquiring my teaching license following teaching classes and pre-practicum experiences. I began by observing how my mentor teacher teaches and within the first few weeks, I began to take on more responsibility in the classroom, eventually becoming the lead teacher for all five algebra classes. My Eportfolio represents a small glimpse into what I experienced during my time student teaching. It shows the reader some of the various challenges I have grown from to develop proficiency in each of the seven CAP elements, and it gives information about Educational Policy and the Worcester Public Schools District. There is also a folder of teaching materials and resources I used throughout my practicum. I would like to thank my supervising practitioner, Dan Brown, and my program supervisor, Gary Ward, for the support they gave me while I was student teaching.
