The globalization of postmodernism in films
PublicDownloadable Content
open in viewerThe project operationally defined postmodernism in films and checked that definition against reviews of 12 films 4 each from Bangkok, Hong Kong, and the U.S., in four categories -- Romance, Horror, Action, and Comedy. Then the project surveyed young adults matching their preferences to the project's criteria of postmodernism as well as their selection of their ten favorite films in rank order. The project concludes that postmodern tastes in films transcend national and ethnic barriers, especially in the 20 to 30 age set.
