This project provided an organization called Preservation Worcester with a database of all historic bridges in Worcester, as well as a presentation of the historical and socio-economic impact of bridge construction and technology in Worcester. The first aspect of this project consisted of data collection from various institutions that maintain technical information on bridges. The second aspect was an investigation of primary and secondary source material that was compiled to form an all-encompassing outlook on the historical significance of bridges.
