Improving Visualization Literacy Feedback and Analysis

The goal of this project was to iteratively and interactively redesign a visual experiment determining if providing feedback could possibly improve chart reading strategies. We presented our designs to a group of stakeholders in order to develop a new feedback page, creating a heatmap graphic that allows users to observe their performance per set as well as holistically. We also reexamined the reparameterization of Bayesian models in order to optimize computation time as well as the accuracy of the posterior distribution.
