This report, in partnership with La Companía para el Desarrollo Integral de la Península de Cantera, presents a viability assessment of establishing a waste collection facility in the community of Cantera. We accomplished this by assessing the current state of the community’s waste management system, interviewing local stakeholders, evaluating potential site and design options, and developing a community involvement plan. Three potential sites were recommended, accompanied by a tentative design of the facility. Our final deliverable was a preliminary operational plan for the prospective waste collection facility in the community of Cantera.
