In this project a tool was developed to generate SolidWorks assemblies from design graphs of gear trains consisting of gear and shaft information. Next, a tool was created to automatically create bond graphs from SolidWorks Assemblies. Parts and their relationships are recognized within SolidWorks using grammar rules, generating a system graph. This system graph is imported into the automated bond graph generation tool from MQP 2015-16. Finally, grammar rules and logic were developed to automatically extract state equations from bond graphs.
