Adenoviral expression of dengue-2 virus proteins -- a plan and interferon signaling inhibition by dengue-2 virus
PublicAdenoviruses are commonly used as gene vectors because of their low level of morbidity and ability to infect both dividing and non-dividing cells. Adenoviral expression systems in which a target gene is delivered to mammalian cells are commercially available. Here, I used one such system to individually express the genes of all dengue-2 virus proteins in an adenovirus, with the ultimate goal of infecting of primary dendritic cells. Through my work, I developed an optimized plan for future use of this system.
