Sports Engineering, Inc. (SEI) has been developing technologies focused on preventing and reducing the severity of lower body sports injuries, specifically related to Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) tears. The primary focus of this report is to analyze the project from an entrepreneurial perspective, analyzing the viability of the product in the marketplace through analysis of current products on the market, costs if development and production, distribution methods, product launch strategies, and marketing strategies, and the product’s life cycle (PLC). Each of these elements are analyzed to provide recommendations for a product launch strategy for SEI as the company prepares to bring their technologies to the marketplace.
