Bank of America: System Performance Tracking Tool and User Interface Prototype

Public Deposited

The goal of the first project was to improve a manual process of generating performance reports for various systems in Bank of America. This was done by designing and implementing a software solution automating this process. A standalone Java application was built to parse through metric log files and generate Excel usage reports that are currently used in assessing the usage and performance of the systems. The second project addressed a business problem that Bank of America faced due to a change in the process of new security registration. This change came about after the DTCC decided to modernize and streamline the process of new security registration. This required a user interface that would replace the old method of using email to collect the information required for each security.
