The task of designing and building the 2003 Formula SAE racecar was accomplished by dividing the team into four groups. These groups were Power-train, Chassis, Suspension, and Manufacturing. This paper covers the tasks completed by the manufacturing group. The role of the manufacturing group was to lead the team by coordinating the efforts of the different groups, manufacture as many parts as possible, and make sure that the car was finished on time.
