The scope of this project is to identify, evaluate, and propose possible solutions to the problem of lead contamination in shooting ranges to best suit society. An in-depth look into the health hazard associated with lead, coupled with the number of contaminated sites nationwide, portrays the magnitude of the lead problem at shooting ranges that society is facing. Remediation techniques and preventative measures are discussed in detail and possible clean-up procedures are proposed.
