Optimal Traffic Flow on Networks
PublicContenu téléchargeable
open in viewerThe goal of this project is to determine methods to optimize traffic flow on highway networks. This is achieved by taking an agent based modeling approach with Python implementation. Other methodologies from dynamical systems and interacting particle systems are explored before reaching the conclusion to use an agent based model. Simple theoretical results are presented along with Python source code which may serve as a framework for future research.
