The Arabian Gulf Countries (AGC) are struggling to reach energy sustainability. Their dependence on oil and natural gas production as a main source of income and source of energy made them produce large amounts of CO2 emissions. The goal of the project is to assist the AGC reach energy sustainability. The team researched the effects of the current energy production and consumption practices in those countries, its effectiveness, and how to make it beneficial. To deal with this struggle, several solutions must be considered such as the transition to low carbon energy sources, and carbon capture, utilization and sequestration. Three scenarios were created to showcase the effectiveness of those solutions.
