We worked with the Centre for Education and Research in Environmental Strategies (CERES) to develop a cost-effective school holiday program model. This program will provide education through holiday breaks while earning a profit that will be used to implement year-round sustainability education for the younger generations. We utilized research from our interviews with staff and parents, focus groups, Melbourne competitor analysis, and legal and licensing requirements. We presented CERES a list of activities, schedules, prices, evaluations, and training methods based on successful characteristics, average market price, cost-volume-profit calculations, and marketing strategies.
